With all these natural disasters and earthquakes going on now in places you never expect, it makes one think "Hmm..." Especially with next year being...

That's not terribly unusual, there's always some seismic activity happening.
We're sitting on a fairly significant fault line, and I believe Virginia has half a dozen of them overall.
You'll shoot your eye out.

I tell people everyday that earthquakes are natural phenomena. It's the moving plates.
I live in Pulaski County and didn't know there was a quake until I read about it in the Roanoke paper the next day. If I'm correct, there was a very large earthquake nearby in Giles County in the late 1800s.
